Jerry Sounik has announced that he is stepping down as Deputy Director for the Town of Acushnet Office of Emergency Management, Jerry has held this position for nearly 20 years.
Jerry will remain as part of the leadership staff but will serve in an advisory capacity. He will also continue to assist at our various assignments.
Jerry, a long time resident of Acushnet, dedicates much of his time to this community. In addition to Emergency Management Jerry is also on the board of the Apple Peach Festival. Filling the Deputy Director position is Ed Caron formerly the Assistant Director for Operations
We would like to take this time to thank Jerry for his 20 years of service as Deputy Director and we are looking forward to his continued service with our agency.
