NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
Fairhaven Planning Board
Notice is hereby given that the Fairhaven Planning Board will conduct the following Public Hearings at 6:30 P.M. on Tuesday July 9, 2019, in the Town Hall, 40 Center Street, Fairhaven, MA.
• The purpose of the hearing will be to receive information and public comment on the following Definitive Subdivision application: 1) DS19-01 The applicant, Robert Roderiques, is requesting approval through the Definitive Subdivision review process to create sixteen (16) buildable lots with two drainage parcels on a 10.8-acre parcel of land off of Hiller Avenue and Timothy Street adjacent to the Department of Public Works facilities on Arsene Street.The location is Map 28C, Lots 71 and 71A. The proposal is to create frontage for a 16-lot subdivision by creating new roads off of Hiller Avenue and Timothy Street.
• The purpose of the hearing will be to receive information and public comment on the following Definitive Subdivision application: 1) DS19-02 The applicant, Jonathan Barboza, is requesting approval through the Definitive Subdivision review process to create one buildable 7.752-acre lot on a 8.07-acre parcel of land off of New Boston Road. The new road will occupy 10,460 square feet and a small 3,750 sf parcel around an existing shed will be attached to an abutting property.The location is Map 40, Lot 26. The proposal is to create a single buildable lot out of farm land and retain the rest of the property for agricultural use.
Copies of the applications are on file for public review at the Planning Board Office, Town Hall from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.To schedule an appointment to review the application call the Planning Department at (508) 979-4082, Ext. 9.
