Teddy Bear Parade signals end of summer reading program

August 8, 2019 by Staff Writer

Signalling the end of the summer reading program, the 35th annual Teddy Bear Parade traipsed through the center of Fairhaven with scores of Teddy lovers of all ages clutching their favorite stuffed animal from the Millicent Library to Our Lady’s Haven and back. At OLH, the elder set handed out goodies and got some young smiles in return. At the end, participants enjoyed some fun on the lawn of the Unitarian Memorial Church, including face painting, bubbles and snacks of…Teddy Grahams, of course.
