Learn about the history of New Bedford through the lives of women who fought to make the world a better place on this free one-hour guided tour. Hear stories of inspiring, civically-engaged SouthCoast women such as champion of historic preservation Sarah Ashley Delano, educator and labor leader Margaret Ryckebusch, doctor and voting rights activist Marie Equi, and educator and abolitionist Martha Briggs.
